His story

World-class training, brought home

Dr. Vishal Rajan Sharma trained at some of the most respected eye institutions in India and abroad — including a clinical fellowship in retina at the University of California, and vitreo-retina and phacoemulsification fellowships at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

He chose to bring that expertise back to Yamunanagar, so families across Haryana could access advanced retinal surgery without travelling to a metro city. Today, Vishal Eye Center is one of North India's few hospitals offering advanced vitreoretinal surgery.
