FAQ

Common questions, answered

Quick answers about appointments, treatment and your visit to Vishal Eye Center.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Both work. We recommend booking by phone so you're seen with minimal wait, but walk-in patients are welcome during clinic hours — 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.

What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. The clinic remains closed on Sundays. You can call 083979 04343 during working hours to plan your visit.

Will my eyes be dilated during the visit?

For a full retina or detailed eye examination, your pupils may be dilated with eye drops. This can blur your near vision and make you light-sensitive for a few hours, so bring sunglasses and ideally someone to accompany you home.

How long does cataract surgery take to recover from?

Modern phacoemulsification is a stitch-free, day-care procedure. Most patients notice clearer vision within a day or two, with full recovery over a few weeks. Dr. Sharma will guide you on aftercare specific to your eyes.

Am I a candidate for LASIK or SMILE?

Suitability depends on your prescription, corneal thickness and overall eye health. We carry out detailed pre-surgery testing before recommending laser correction, so book a consultation and we'll let you know honestly whether it's right for you.

I have diabetes — how often should I get my eyes checked?

Diabetes can silently damage the retina, so a yearly dilated retinal screening is generally advised — sooner if you notice any change in vision. Early detection makes diabetic eye disease far more manageable.

Which areas do you serve?

We're located in Jagadhri and regularly care for patients from Yamunanagar, Bilaspur, Chhachhrauli and across Haryana — including those referred for advanced retina treatment.
